The Allied Telesyn AT-MC14 Media Converter is basically designed in order to be used to extend the distance of your network over large distances by interconnecting twisted pair cabling to single-mode or multimode fiber optic cabling. This product comes with a a 10Base-T twisted pair port and a 10Base-F fiber optic port. The twisted pair port has an RJ-45 connector and a maximum operating distance of 100 meters (328 feet). This media converter is intendedly made for desktop or in an AT-MCR12 chassis. It is also capable to facilitates ease of use as the software configuration and management are not required.
