Cisco Nexus 7700 Switches 10-Slot Chassis with Fan Tray N77-C7710

The Cisco Nexus 7700 Switches 10-Slot Chassis is a Cisco Nexus 7000 Series chassis that employs a passive mid-plane architecture, with physical connectors and copper traces interconnecting fabric modules and I/O modules for direct data transfer. Crossbar fabric ASICs on individual I/O modules and fabric modules handle all inter-module switching. On day one, a scalable, fully distributed fabric architecture uses up to six fabric modules to deliver up to 1.32 Tbps of bandwidth per slot in the Cisco Nexus 7700 6-, 10-, and 18-slot switches. The fabric modules are not required in the case of the Cisco Nexus 7700 2slot chassis because it uses a single I/O module.
