The OWC ThunderBay 4 RAID 5 Edition 16.0TB 4-bay External Drive Enclosure has a capacity of 16.0TB. OWCTB2SRT16.0S ships with drives that have been pre-configured for RAID 5 using the software. 16TB of storage space allows you to store files such as music, photos, movies, and documents, but it also allows you to run a production workflow with 2K, 4K, and audio. There are four bays in the array, each with a single 4TB hard drive. Each included 3.5" drive has a rotational speed of 7200 rpm and connects to the array via the SATA III 6 Gb/s interface. Because the array includes four drives, they can be software configured as RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, and 1+0, with each offering performance and data redundancy.
