The ALLOY MGBIC-MLC is a Gigabit Multimode SFP Module which can be installed into your network switches/hubs that supports gigabit based SFP slot. This 1000Mb copper based SFP module is ideal for a wide range of switches, media converters and routers that supports SFP interface. It can achieve up to 220 meters of distances by using 62.5micron fibre and upto 550m using 50micron fibre.It is capable of up to 1.25Gb/s bi-directional data links, 550m transmission with 50/125µm MMF, and 220m transmission with 62.5/125µm MMF. The module is also hot-swappable that allows the administrator to interchange the modules without interrupting the network.
